On 01-27-25 at 6:52 AM, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident, Car vs Semi, in the area of IL Rt-23 & N 21 st RD (Farm Rdige TWP). Grand Ridge Fire and EMS responded and Life Flight transported one to St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. Fernando Alvarado (27) of Streator was cited for DUI alcohol/intoxicating compound/drug, failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, improper lane usage, and released with an NTA.
