On 10/2/2024 at 4:39 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 2653rd RD & E 21st RD. (Fall River TWP) Haley Edgar (28) of Marseilles was driving west on N 2653rd RD when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer. She lost control of the vehicle entering the yard of 2181 N 2653rd RD, striking a gas line and wooden fence. Haley was arrested for failure to reduce speed/accident, failure to give notice of accident, leaving the scene of accident and DUI alcohol BAC over .08. She was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
On 10/3/2024 at 12:32 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 71 & E 30th RD. (Mission TWP) Jacob Jones (24) of Chicago, IL was cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone and drivers license not on person/failure to display. He was released with a NTA.
