On 11/14/2024 at 3:26 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2350th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Avery Ilkanic (30) of Streator was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 11/14/2024 at 5:49 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of N 1475th RD & E 18th RD. (Otter Creek TWP) Kevin McClernon (54) of Streator was driving east on N 1475thRD when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
