On 11/11/2024 at 6:11 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 71 & E 2653rd RD. (Mission TWP) Cody Erickson (21) of Ottawa was driving west on RT 71 when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front right side of his vehicle.
On 11/15/2024 at 4:13 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N 12th RD & E 15thRD. (Eagle TWP) The driver Darcie Verly (55) of Streator was arrested for DWLS and an active Bureau County FTA, driving offense warrant. The passenger Antonio Johnson (36) of Streator was arrested for an active LaSalle County FTA, possession of a controlled substance warrant, obstructing identification and possession of drug equipment. They were both transported to LASCO jail.
On 11/15/2024 at 6:09 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of E 24thRD & N 2879th RD. (Manlius TWP) Bradley Figenbaum (44) of Marseilles was driving north on E 24th RD when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front left corner of his vehicle.
