On 12/8/2023 at 12:36 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of I-39 S/B & MM 46. (Hope TWP) Angel Lopez (19) of Janesville, WI was arrested for no valid DL and transported to LASCO Jail. He was later released with a NTA.
On 12/8/2023 at 5:37 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of 2440 N 41st RD. (Serena TWP) Eric Torres (25) of Sheridan was driving west on N 41st RD when a deer entered the road way. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
On 12/8/2023 at 9:18 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2250th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Kyle Schaffner (19) of Streator was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.
