On 2/8/2024 at 3:17 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 6 & E 28th RD. (Manlius TWP) Jeffery Van Cleave (50) of Morris, IL was driving west on RT 6 when his vehicle struck a tree branch hanging over a bridge rail causing damage to front bumper and passenger side.
On 2/10/2024 at 1:22 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 11th RD. (Richland TWP) Trudell Byrd (18) of Peru was cited for speeding 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was released with a NTA.
On 2/10/2024 at 3:16 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2350th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Albert Kara (39) of Streator was cited for improper use of registration. He was released with a NTA.
On 2/10/2024 at 1:27 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 6 & E 22nd RD. (Rutland TWP) Jeramiah Martin (19) of Joliet, IL was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.
