On 02-24-25 at 7:27 AM, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a minor two vehicle accident in the parking lot of Casey’s General Store, 2949 IL Rt-178, (Utica TWP) involving a NCAT Bus. No injuries were reported and EMS did not respond. Erica Lumley (45) of Marseilles and John Tate (66) of Marseilles were the drivers involved; no citations were issued.
On 02-24-25 at 5:45 PM, LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of IL Rt-178 & N 16th RD (Allen TWP). Joel Underwood (23) of Bartonville was cited for speeding 75MPH in a 55 MPH zone and was released from the scene.
