On 3/9/2024 at 5:43 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of N 24th RD & E 23rd RD. (Fall River TWP) A 16 year old male of Grand Ridge drove north on E 23rd RD through the intersection and was struck by a vehicle traveling west on N 24th RD. Mary Miller (65) of Marseilles was driving west on N 24th RD when she struck the 16 year old’s vehicle traveling north through the intersection.
On 3/9/2024 at 6:42 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of N 4251st RD & N 4250th RD. (Northville TWP) Calvin Wallis (66) of Plano, IL was driving north on N 4251st RD when a deer entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of her vehicle.
On 3/11/2024 at 5:32 am LaSalle County Deputies responded to 3801 E 2288th RD (Serena TWP) for a domestic problem. Subsequently Troy Esparza (39) of Serena was arrested for domestic battery and transported to LASCO jail.
