On 3/10/2024 at 1:29 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 4251st RD & E 2603rd RD. (Northville TWP) Alaina Roesler (22) of Sandwich, IL was driving northeast on N 4251st RD, negotiating a curve when she lost control of her vehicle entering the east ditch. Her vehicle struck a utility pole and overturned landing on its driver’s side. Alaina was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident, improper lane usage, operating uninsured motor vehicle and arrested for DUI alcohol BAC over .08. She was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
On 3/13/2024 at 12:38 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 7th RD. (Richland TWP) Mario Gutierrez (19) of Streator was cited for speeding 73 mph in a 55 mph zone.
