On 3/15/2024 at 1:15 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 6 & E 10th RD. (Utica TWP) Caleb Prose (45) of Girard, IL was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle and released with a NTA.
On 3/15/2024 at 4:40 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a three vehicle accident with minor injuries in the area of RT 71 & E 2603rdRD. (Mission TWP) Jose Ramirez (21) of Depue, IL was driving south on RT 71 when his vehicle struck the back end of the vehicle in front of him also traveling south on RT 71. Mark Sanchez (25) of Aurora, IL was driving south on RT 71 when Jose’s vehicle struck the back end of his causing his vehicle to enter the N/B lane, striking a motorcycle traveling N/B. Michael Sturm (20) of Oswego, IL was driving north on RT 71 when Mark’s vehicle entered his lane striking his motorcycle. Jose was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident. Mark was cited for expired registration.
On 3/17/2024 at 4:15 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2450th RD. (South Ottawa TWP) John Ketzner (52) of Clear Lake, WI was cited for speeding 72 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 3/17/2024 at 4:34 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 22nd RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Taylor Spoonmore (32) of Streator was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
