On 3/1/2024 at 12:38 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 71 & N 2650th RD. (South Ottawa TWP) Benjamin Sappington (44) of Ottawa was cited for improper lane usage, operating uninsured motor vehicle and arrested for DWLR, DUI .164 BAC & violation of parole. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
On 3/1/2024 at 4:50 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Columbus ST & N 31st RD. (Ottawa TWP) Cody Smith (35) of Smyrna, TN was cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle and arrested for DWLS. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
