On 3/20/2024 at 4:27 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of RT 23 & W Parkway ST. (Farm Ridge TWP) Carter Bacon (28) of Grand Ridge was driving south on RT 23 and attempted to turn left onto W Parkway ST when a vehicle traveling north on RT 23 struck the back right side of his vehicle. Ramon Garcia (54) of Streator was driving north on RT 23 when Carter turned left in front of him striking the back right corner of Carter’s vehicle. Carter was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
