On 4/13/2024 at 9:58 pm LaSalle County Deputies responded to 1570 N 30th RD lot # 2 (Ottawa TWP) in reference to two males fighting and one was stabbed in the arm. The victim Benjamin Sappington (44) of Ottawa was taken to Ottawa hospital for injuries to his left forearm. Dustin Farrell (41) of Ottawa was arrested for aggravated battery and later released with a NTA.
On 4/14/2024 at 12:47 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 18 & E 12th RD. (Eagle TWP) Cara Durdan (35) of Streator was cited for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone.
