On 4/14/2024 at 4:09 pm LaSalle County Deputies attempted a traffic stop in the are of RT 23 & N 18th RD. The vehicle fled until it lost control at the intersection of N 17th RD & E 14th RD where it entered the north ditch, struck a utility pole and overturned. The passenger Liam Blue (18) of Ottawa was transported to Streator for minor injuries. The driver Colton Blue (19) of Streator ran from the scene and was later located in the yard of 1647 E 1379th RD. Colton was arrested for aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude, reckless driving, DWLS, operating uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed/accident and speeding 94 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was later released with a NTA.
On 4/16/2024 at 12:50 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N 17th RD & E 16thRD. (Bruce TWP) Vernon Andrews (38) of Streator was arrested for DWLS. He was later released with a NTA.
On 4/16/2024 at 4:10 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N 31st RD & RT 71. (Ottawa TWP) Blake Osborne (34) of Ottawa was arrested for DWLS and operating uninsured motor vehicle. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
On 4/16/2024 at 5:31 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of E Stanton ST & N Vermillion ST. (Bruce TWP) Justine Coleman (33) of Earlville was arrested for possession of adult use cannabis/driver and released with a NTA.
On 4/16/2024 at 8:13 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N Bloomington ST & Goulding ST. (Bruce TWP) Taylor Pruitt (28) of Streator was arrested for DWLR, possession of adult use cannabis/driver, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
