On 4/1/2024 at 2:34 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 251 & I-80. (Dimmick TWP) Cecil Watson (62) of Des Moines, IA was arrested for no valid driver’s license. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
On 4/1/2024 at 4:12 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 19th RD & E 18th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Rebecca Simons (49) of Grand Ridge was driving east on N 19th RD when she drove off the roadway, onto the north shoulder and struck a mail box to 1779 N 19th RD. She was cited for failure to give information after striking property and failure to report accident to police authority. Rebecca was released with a NTA.
