LaSalle County Sheriff Report 4/7/2024

On 4/4/2024 at 8:01 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of RT 71 & E 24^th RD. (Rutland TWP) Justin Leal (32) of Serena was driving north on RT 71 when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.

On 4/5/2024 at 9:49 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & I-80. (Dayton TWP) Lisa Carlson (47) of Ottawa was cited for improper use of electronic communication device.

On 4/5/2024 at 10:18 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Columbus ST & Norris DR. (Ottawa TWP) Amy Kendall (40) of Streator was cited for improper use of electronic communication device.

On 4/5/2024 at 2:02 pm LaSalle County Deputies Conducted a traffic stop in the area of 500 W Walnut ST. (LaSalle TWP) Latonja Best (49) of Peru was cited for speeding 48 mph in a 30 mph zone.

On 4/5/2024 at 2:23 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of W Walnut ST & I-39. (LaSalle TWP) Dhruvkumar Patel (29) of Peru was cited for obstructed front windshield.

On 4/6/2024 at 12:57 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 6 & E 22^nd RD. (Dayton TWP) Kyle Malmloff-Pawula (38) of Hickory Hills, IL was cited for speeding 73 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 4/6/2024 at 1:43 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 52 & E 1553^rd RD. (Freedom TWP) Peter Thomas (40) of Yorkville, IL was cited for speeding 80 mph in a 55 mph zone.
