On 3/28/2024 at 4:02 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of E 22nd RD & N 2829th RD. (Dayton TWP) Katrina Spittler (43) of Seneca was driving north on E 22nd RD, negotiating a curve when she entered the south bound lane sideswiping a vehicle traveling south. John Harden (36) of Marseilles was driving south on E 22nd RD, negotiating a curve when Katrina entered his lane and sideswiped his vehicle. Katrina was arrested for DWLS and leaving the scene of accident/vehicle damage. She was released with a NTA.
On 4/6/2024 at 1:35 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries at the intersection of E 15th RD & N 1450th RD. (Eagle TWP) Robert Petit (47) of Merrillville, IL was driving north on E 15th RD when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it with the front end of his vehicle.
