On 05-06-25 at 1:40 AM, LaSalle County Deputies arrested Damien Johnson (30) of Ottawa after a prolonged vehicle pursuit that ended in a minor 2 vehicle accident involving a LaSalle County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle. No injuries were reported from the accident. Damien was charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, endangering the life of a child who was in the vehicle, obstructing police officer, speeding more than 35 MPH over limit, and cited for disobey stop sign, disobey traffic control device, improper lane usage, wrong way on a one-way. Daniel was transported to LASCO Jail and was subsequently released with an NTA.
On 05-07-25 at 3:15 AM LaSalle County Deputies conducted a Traffic Stop in the area of IL Rt-18 & E 3rd RD (Hope TWP). Scott Rooney (36) of Marseilles was cited for Speeding 76 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and released at the scene.
On 05-07-25 at 6:05 AM LaSalle County Deputies conducted a Traffic Stop in the area of IL Rt-23 & N 2350th RD (South Ottawa TWP). Irving Childress (49) of Streator was cited for Speeding 74 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and released at the scene.
On 05-07-25 at 6:24 AM LaSalle County Deputies conducted a Traffic Stop in the area of N 18th RD & IL Rt-23 (Bruce TWP). Fernando Gomez Andrade (51) of Streator was cited for Speeding 75 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and released at the scene.

On 05-07-25 at 6:58 AM LaSalle County Deputies conducted a Traffic Stop in the area of E 13th RD & US Rt-6 (Ottawa TWP). Bryan Hickman (31) of Ottawa was cited for Speeding 71 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, operate uninsured motor vehicle, and released at the scene with an NTA

On 05-08-25 at 1:00 AM LaSalle County Deputies investigateda single vehicle accident in the area of E 19th RD & N 17th RD (Farm Ridge TWP). Seth Koesler (26) of Streator was cited for driver fail to give notice of accident and released at the scene.
On 05-08-25 at 3:25 AM LaSalle County Deputies conducted a Traffic Stop in the area of US Rt-6 & E 10th RD (Utica TWP). Juan Gallardo (54) of LaSalle was cited for Speeding 70 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and released at the scene.
