On 05/04/24 at approximately 10:29 P.M. LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the area of E 1553rdRD and E 14th RD (EARL TWP). Marissa L. Congdon (19) of Earlville, IL was turning north on E 14th RD when she stuck another vehicle. Darren J. Skinner (60) of Earlville, IL was traveling west on E 1553rd RD when Marissa’s vehicle turned and struck his. There was a passenger in Darren’s vehicle and she was identified as Misty D. Skinner (60). Misty was transported from the scene by Earlville EMS to OSF St. Elizabeth. Marissa was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
On 05/08/24 at approximately 4:14 A.M. LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of US RT 6 and E 12th RD (Wallace TWP). Timothy F. Waid (21) of Spring Valley, IL was cited for speeding 76mph in a 55mph zone.
On 05/08/24 at approximately 3:03 P.M. LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the area of N 27th RD and 2803rd RD (Ottawa TWP). Amber R. Taliani (28) of DePue was at the stop sign on N 2803rd RD. When she entered the intersection, her vehicle was struck on the passenger side causing her to enter the north west ditch striking a stop sign. William E. Holdridge (76) of Farmington, IL was traveling west bound N 27th RD. William went through the intersection and struck Amber’s vehicle. William’s vehicle continued through the intersection and came to rest in the north ditch of N 27th RD. William was transported from the scene by Ottawa EMS to OSF St. Elizabeth.
