On 6/22/2024 at 2:43 am LaSalle County Deputies responded to 4611 E 22ndRD, Hi-Tide Campground. (Adams TWP) for a complaint of a male subject shooting a hand gun into a firepit. Subsequently Joseph Pawelcyk (45) of Streator was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm. He was transported to LASCO jail.
On 6/23/2024 at 6:52 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the driveway of 478 ½ RT 351. (LaSalle TWP) Machelle Wall (28) of Oglesby pulled into her driveway and struck the drivers door of a parked vehicle causing frontend damage to her vehicle. She was transported to OSF Saint Elizabeth for a mental evaluation.
On 6/24/2024 at 8:24 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 71 & E 2250th RD. (Rutland TWP) Akhrorbek Otadjanov (21) of Lisle, IL was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55mph zone.
