On 8/13/2024 at 5:32 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of N 30th RD & E 22nd RD. (Rutland TWP) George Wawerski (24) of Serena was driving south on E 22nd RD when he disobeyed the stop sign and struck a vehicle traveling west on N 30th RD. Anthony Cosmutto (46) of Marseilles was driving west on N 30thRD when his vehicle was struck by George’s vehicle in the middle of the intersection. George was cited for uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a stop sign and failure to reduce speed/accident.
On 8/15/2024 at 1:28 am LaSalle County Deputies responded to 4607 E 18th RD (Adams TWP) for a domestic problem. Subsequently Christian Killen (25) of Leland was arrested for domestic battery and Denise Blanquet (42) of Leland was arrested for an active LaSalle County FTA, domestic battery warrant. Both were transported to LASCO jail.
On 8/15/2024 at 7:08 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N 25th RD & I-80. (LaSalle TWP) Patrick Harris (46) of Grandville, IL was cited for disobeying a stop sign and arrested for DWLR. He was transported to LASCO jail and later released with a NTA.
