On 08/27/24 at 7:06 A.M, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident in the area of N 42nd Rd and E 2603rd RD (Northville TWP). The Driver, Matthew Jorgensen (32) of Oswego, IL was traveling northwest on N 42ndRD negotiating the curve when he left the roadway. He entered the north ditch and continued pass it making impact with the tree line. Matthew refused medical attention. Matthew was arrested for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid accident, and illegal transportation of alcohol (Driver). Matthew was transported to LASCO Jail and later released with an NTA.
On 08/29/24 at 6:07 A.M, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with a deer in the area of IL RT 71 and N 32nd RD (Rutland TWP). The driver, Felicia Wright (33) of Morris, IL was traveling northeast on IL RT 71 when she struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle received front driver side damage. There were no injuries.
