On 09/13/24 at 6:25 am, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident involving a deer in the area of E 2225th Rd and N 44th Rd (Adams TWP). The driver, Gayla R. Buhler of Leland, IL was driving north on E 2225th Rd when she struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle received front end damage. There were no injuries reported.
On 09/13/24 at 6:00 am, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident involving a deer in the area of N 20th Rd and E 4th Rd (Eden Twp). The driver, Benjamin N Blanco of Tonica, IL was driving west on N 20th Rd when he struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle received front end damage. There were no injuries reported.
On 09/13/24 at 5:59 am, Lasalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries near the intersection of IL RT 71 and N 39th Rd (Mission TWP). Jose F. Rivera (32) of Aurora, exited a property and began driving northeast on IL RT 71. Shortly after pulling onto the roadway his semi-trailer was struck at the rear by a vehicle traveling northeast on IL RT 71. James S. Einhaus (36) of Utica was traveling northeast on IL RT 71 when he struck the rear of the semi-trailer. James was cited with failure to reduce speed/accident, and operating uninsured motor vehicle. James was treated on scene for minor injuries. No other injuries reported.
