LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Ketamine, Cannabis Oil, and Cash in Traffic Stop

The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office lands a significant drug seizure during a traffic stop in Peru, Illinois, according to Sheriff Adam Diss. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the Speedway Gas Station on April 4, 2024, around 12:40 AM. They found and seized 5 kilograms of Ketamine, 14.1 ounces of Cannabis Oil, and $5,363 in U.S. currency. The driver, Teren Andrew Overbeck, 34, from Los Angeles, California, was charged with Delivery of Ketamine 30+ Grams (Class X Felony) and is now in LaSalle County Jail. The State filed a petition for pretrial detention.  Overbeck will likely see a Judge on Friday for his first appearance.
