MAC Announces Return of Two Events For April

MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Arts Center has announced the return of two events for the month of April.

In a press release they announced the return of the Kids Battle of the Brushes  on Sunday, April 7th, and Bingo Bash on Saturday, April 13th, to the center on the east side of the Macomb Square.

The Kids Battle of the Brushes, also known as K-BoB, is a friendly fast-paint competition where kids in grades 1-8 will use acrylic paints to use paintings in 20 minutes or less. Prizes will be awarded to the winning artists in each grade group.

Registration is $5, and participants need to be pre-registered by Friday, April 5th. To register, the participant’s name and current grade are to be emailed to [email protected].

Bingo Bash will see the return of an fun evening filled with multiple Bingo games of different patterns, with prizes available for the winners of each round. There will also be light snacks and a cash bar available. Families are welcome, but children must be with a parent or guardian. No one under 21 will be allowed in the bar room.

Tickets for Bingo Bash are $20 each, with a discounted rate of $100 for a table for 6 if purchased in advance.

Tickets and registration for these events may be purchased online at the MAC website, at the MAC during Gallery hours, or at the door if the event has not previously sold out.
