MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Arts Center has announced that they will be hosting their inaugural Macomb Harp Day, Sunday, September 17th from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages.
Macomb Harp Day is an event where attendees will be able to hear, play, and learn about harps. During this event, there will be pop-up concerts featuring solo harp performances and flute and harp duos. At 3:45 PM, there will be a sing-a-long for young children.
A harp petting zoo will be open throughout the afternoon with eight harps from Paraguay, France, Italy, and the all over the US, for people of all ages to play, learn about, and hear. There will also be a harp ornament decorating station, harp-related door prizes, and refreshments.
