    ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 12.8 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
    PRECAUTIONS
    Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued by Monday evening at 845 PM CDT.

Macomb Announces Downtown Summer Concert Series 2023

MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Office of Downtown Development has announced the lineup for the 2023 Downtown Summer Concert Series starting Wednesday, June 7th 2023.

The concerts are free and open to the public, and will take place in Chandler Park from 12:00 p.m. to 1 :00 p.m.

Attendees are asked to please bring their own lawn chairs or blanket to sit on and enjoy the entertainment in Chandler Park.

Says Marketing and Downtown Development Director Savannah Ballard, “I’m excited to be able to continue this event and provide local afternoon entertainment in the Downtown area.”

This year’s entertainment lineup includes:

  • June 7 – Bill Maakestad
  • June 14 – Mari Loehrlein
  • June 28 – Fred Railsback
  • July 5 – The Bayou Prowlers
  • July 12 – SUMMERSTAGE
  • July 19 – King Graffiti Band
  • July 26 – Nauvoo Pageant Bagpipe Band
  • August 2 – Bluegrass Ensemble
  • August 9 –  Prairieland Barbershop Chorus
