MACOMB, IL – The City of Macomb announced today that Monday, October 30th and Tuesday, October 31st have been designated as the dates for city-wide door-to-door Trick or Treating. The hours have been set for 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for both evenings.
Residents wishing to participate should have their exterior light on, which will not only indicate their willingness to greet trick or treaters but provide an added measure of safety as well. Trick or treating activity should be limited to ages (12) and under.
Parents are asked to accompany youngsters to ensure safety when crossing streets and encourage them to wear reflective clothing if possible. Motorists are encouraged to be extra vigilant as many neighborhoods will be filled with pedestrians focusing on treats.
