MACOMB, IL – Macomb 185 Schools announced earlier this week that 4 Boys and 3 Girls Bombers Basketball players received Prairie Land South All-Conference Team honors as a result of their performance during the 2023-2024 Season.

The Boys recognized include:

  • Dion Doyle – 1st Team
  • Braden Holthaus – 1st Team
  • Ian Case – 2nd Team
  • Drew Watson – Honorable Mention

“We had a great season! Finished with a record of 28 wins and 6 losses. We won our school’s first Regional in Boys basketball since 2015. We won the first Boys basketball Sectional at Macomb since 2006. Our success is a testament to all of our players’ work ethic and determination,” says Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Jeremy Anderson.

And for the Girls:

  • Kylie Robinson – 1st Team (Unanimous)
  • Drew Creasey – 2nd Team
  • Kate Stortzum – 2nd Team

“I’m very pleased with the progress that Kylie, Drew, and Kate made this past season. Their hard work during the offseason was consistent, and that showed up time and time again on the court this winter,” states Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Jackson Kane, “Though these were individual honors, they would not have been possible without our entire team’s time, effort, and dedication each day. I’m looking forward to seeing what these three talented young women can accomplish during their senior season. Led by their leadership, positivity, and example, I have no doubt we will be extremely successful.”
