MACOMB, IL – The Ambassador Committee of the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the YMCA of McDonough County on Tuesday morning.
The ceremony was to celebrate the recent addition of the 24-hour fitness center access for YMCA members who are 18 years or older. This 24-hour access includes the weight rooms, cardio, and common areas that can be accessed via individual member key tags through the Senior Center entrance at the southwest side of the building outside of regular business hours, and comes at no additional cost to members although required waivers must be filled out and returned to the front desk.
This update to the YMCA facility has been a project in the making for the past two years and ensures that the YMCA continues to meet the needs of their members and the community. For information, visit macombymca.org.
