Macomb Community Theatre To Perform All-Youth Holiday Show Nov 17

MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Community Theatre has announced that they will be presenting an all-youth production of  “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” on Friday and Saturday, November 17th and 18th starting at 7:00 p.m with a matinee performance on Sunday the 19th starting at 2:00 p.m. at the 4H Center in Macomb.

Based on the best-selling book by Barbara Robinson, this warm and funny play is centered on what happens when “the worst kids in the whole history of the world” decide to take part in a traditional Christmas pageant when they discover there will be snacks.

The cast consists of 28 Macomb-area 2nd through 8th graders including: Ciaran Alveshere, Lachlan Alveshere, Juyda Blome, Lucy Buchanan, Emma Decker, Clara Franken, Mykel Glaue, Evelyn Goc, Lily Goc, Emmet Hall, Claire Huang, Addison Kinman, Olivia Lee, Sam McGruder, Ada Mealiff, Emery Mealiff, Everett Mealiff, Addi Minter, Gryffen Quesal, Kaley Ruff, Branton Schwerer, Rylynn Schwerer, Lucy Seggelke, Riley Seggelke, London Sevcik, Mariah Swigart, Jasper Thompson, and Emily Young. The show is directed by Nan Crossman and stage managed by Amanda Banninga.

The audience is invited to stay for a brief reception following each performance to greet cast members.

Admission is $5 for youth 13 and under and $10 for everyone else, cash or check only at the door. Advance reservations will not be available for this show.
