MACOMB, IL – A Macomb man was arrested on Friday after it was alleged that he had sexually assaulted a child.
According to reports, the Macomb Police Department received a report on Monday, May 15th that a child had been sexually assaulted in Macomb. After thorough investigations were performed, an arrest warrant was issued for Joshua T. Dye, 25, of Macomb with charges for three counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child.
Dye was taken into custody by the Macomb Police and the U.S. Marshals Task Force on Friday, May 19th, without incident. He is currently being housed at the McDonough County Jail, with a bond of $250,000. The investigation is currently ongoing and further charges are possible.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
