Macomb Police Arrest Man Wanted By DHS

MACOMB, IL – A California man wanted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been arrested in Macomb.

According to reports, Macomb Police were notified by DHS that James Kritz, 46, formerly of California, may possibly be residing in Macomb. Kritz had a nationwide federal warrant out for his arrest for child exploitation out of California.

With information provided by DHS, detectives from the Macomb Police Department were able to locate Kritz in Macomb. He was taken into custody without incident, and is currently lodged at the McDonough County Jail without bond.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
