Murdock has been serving in an interim capacity since December 28, 2023. Murdock first joined MDH in April 2019 as the Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. We face many challenges in healthcare, and our Board is confident in Bill’s ability to lead our hospital into the future,” said Jere Greuel, Chairman of the MDH Board of Directors.

“I was honored to have served as interim President & Chief Executive Officer that started nearly five months ago as the MDH Board of Directors began the process of permanently filling the position. I was humbled by the outpouring of support and encouragement from our MDH colleagues along with community and family members to consider pursuing the CEO role permanently,” said Murdock. “I am energized and thrilled to be selected as MDH’s next President & CEO and look forward to working with an amazing staff, Board members, and community leaders as MDH continues to raise the organization in uncharted healthcare challenges.”
