Join the Friends of the Hennepin Canal April walk on April 21, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Bridge 50. “White Tail Deer” April walk is four miles long and runs from Bridge 47 to Bridge 50 on the feeder canal. Walkers joining the “Hike the Hennepin” hike on April 21st should meet at the northwest side of Bridge 50 and take a shuttle to Bridge 47 to begin the hike. To get to Bridge 50, take Highway 40 North from Highway 6, or Interstate 80, to Route 172. Drive west on Route 172 to where it crosses the feeder canal.
You do not need to be a member of the Friends of the Hennepin Canal to join the hikes and there is no cost to join the monthly hikes. They ask that you dress appropriately for the weather.
