Beginning November 4th, 2024, the Wethersfield School District will implement new morning drop-off procedures. Buses will drop off elementary students not eating breakfast on McClure Street, while those having breakfast, along with high school and junior high students, will go to Willard Street. Pre-K and kindergarten students have a designated green drop zone on Willard at the elementary school. Students in 1st to 6th grades will be dropped off in the Blish parking lot off of Garfield Street. Students should be dropped off near the cafeteria. Drivers should enter the Blish parking lot off Garfield and exit onto Tenney Street. The district emphasizes that students should be ready to exit vehicles quickly to ensure a smooth drop-off process.
