OSF HealthCare Saint Clare Medical Center has launched its annual Tree of Lights campaign, inviting the community to purchase stars in tribute to loved ones. Funds raised this year will help acquire a new 3D ultrasound bladder scanner for the medical center, supporting improved diagnostics and patient care. The Tree of Lights will shine brightly in the north lobby, serving as both a symbol of remembrance and a beacon for community generosity. The display will remain up through January 31st, giving residents ample time to participate and make a meaningful contribution to local healthcare advancements.

“As these stars shine brightly through the season, they remind us of the love and light that continue to surround us,” said Deb Kirley, Tree of Lights chairperson. “Each gift is a reflection of gratitude and hope for those we cherish and for the health of our community.”

A long-standing local tradition continues its legacy of support, having raised over $135,000 since 1990 for community health initiatives. This year’s Tree of Lights campaign focuses on raising funds for a portable 3D ultrasound bladder scanner at OSF Saint Clare, promising quicker, non-invasive patient assessments and lowering infection risks. Community members can honor loved ones by purchasing Silver Stars for $10 or Gold Stars for $100. All stars will be displayed on the 2025 Tree of Lights in OSF Saint Clare’s north lobby, accompanied by a tribute list celebrating those remembered and honored with each shining star.

To take part, individuals may visit osfsaintclare.org/treeoflights or pick up a brochure in the OSF Saint Clare lobby. Donations, along with dedication forms, can also be mailed directly to OSF Saint Clare – Tree of Lights at 530 Park Ave. E., Princeton, IL 61356.
