On May 23rd, more than 100 athletes from Kewanee High School showed up for the second annual Athletic Skills Assessment (Combine) to assess their skills and get a baseline so they could focus on areas where they needed improvement during summer training. This is the second year that Kewanee High School coaches have administered the program. The following skills were tested: vertical jump, 5-10-5 shuttle run, L-cone run, 40-yard dash, broad jump, bench press, 100-meter run, 10-yard sprint time, times planks, pull-ups, and grip test.
