Peoples National Bank of Kewanee posted on their Facebook page about a phishing attempt some people in the general area have received. If you receive a text, such as in the picture below, do NOT click the link. These messages are meant to steal your personal information and/or your money. If you receive any type of communication that appears to be from the bank but looks suspicious, Peoples National Bank said to contact them. “We are here to protect you and your accounts from being hacked. Our text messages NEVER include links to approve or cancel transactions.”
