Petitions and other materials for the 2025 Black Hawk College Board of Trustees election will be available starting Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Interested parties can pick up the petition packets at either the Quad-Cities Campus or the East Campus. Locations for pickup are the Office of the Executive Vice President in Building 1 at the Quad-Cities Campus (6600 34th Ave., Moline) and the Administration Office in Building A at the East Campus (26230 Black Hawk Road, Galva). The offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The consolidated election is slated for April 1, 2025, with two six-year terms available on the Board of Trustees. The Black Hawk College district covers parts of nine counties in west central Illinois. Nominating petitions can start being circulated on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Completed petitions must be filed between 8 AM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and 5 PM on Monday, November 18th, at the Office of the Executive Vice President at the Quad-Cities Campus.
