Cue the crack of the cue and the clinking of billiard balls—The Cuff Event Center in Princeton, Illinois, is gearing up for a special benefit pool tournament dedicated to supporting Rich Murphy and shining a light on dementia and Lewy Body awareness. The doors open at 9 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with the tournament kicking off at 11 AM. Participants will compete in blind draw scotch doubles, playing eight-ball under classic rules. Teams will be formed through a blind-draw format, challenging players with a scotch doubles eight-ball competition. Entry is $40 per participant, with all proceeds helping to raise awareness and provide assistance. Organizers invite pool enthusiasts and community members alike to take part, enjoy friendly competition, and contribute to help Kelli and Rich Murphy navigate their new reality. Rich has been unable to work for months and is waiting to get on disability. Kelli is suffering from serious medical issues as well and said that it takes a lot for her to ask for help, but they really need some help right now. Any help is appreciated.
