Princeton Cross Country Results from Three Rivers Conference in Monmouth

The Princeton Tigers Cross County team had a good day in Monmouth at the Three Rivers Conference. Coach Pat Hodge said, “We had some nice performances.  Augustus and Payton both moved up from 15th place finishes last year.  Alexandra improved from 26th and Ruby improved from 6th.  The girls ran real well.  Ruby and Payton were in the lead pack of 5 for most of the race.  Dawson had perhaps our best performance running his fastest time yet on a pretty tough and slightly long course.  Brady had an excellent freshman finish.   Augustus’ finish was the best we’ve had for the boys since we joined the Three Rivers Conference.  Our girls last finished 3rd in 2021.  Ruby, Payton, and Alexandra become the second PHS trio to earn All-Conference.  The only other group was when Lexi Bohms, Elizabeth Orwig, and Hannah Muehlschlegel finished  4th, 5th, and 10 in 2019- when the girls placed 2nd as a team.  In other words, it was a pretty good day for us.”
