The Oregon Open cross-country meet featured strong individual performances, despite not keeping team scores. Ben Bohr of Aurora Central Catholic emerged as the boys’ champion with a 16:02 finish. At the same time, Cecilia Hilby led the girls’ field at 19:01. Princeton’s runners showed notable improvement, with Augustus Swanson clocking 18:26 and Brady Gross marking a personal best. Ruby Acker led the Princeton varsity girls at 22:12, and several teammates also achieved season or personal bests. Junior varsity highlights included debut runs from Lenora Hopkins and Leila Acker. Coach Pat Hodge praised the team’s progress and competitive spirit this season.
