Backbone Road will be closed for construction from Epperson Road, east of the I-80 overpass, to the intersection of 1750 North, south of Big Bureau Creek. A full road closure will begin on November 3, 2023, to November 5, 2023. There will be a one-lane closure with limited access for vehicles passing through on Monday, November 6th. The Bureau County Highway Department will provide updates if the dates change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
