The University of Illinois Extension and the Bureau County Farm Bureau are teaming up for an event to promote Healthy Eating. Bounty of Summer Healthy Eating Class will be headed up by U of I Extension Wellness Educator, Susan Glasman and will focus on locally grown garden vegetables, homemade dressings and innovative drinks. Attendees will get recipes that they can use to build healthy eating habits that they will want to keep going back to. Bounty of Summer Healthy Eating Class will take place on August 22nd, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 7 PM at the Bureau County Farm Bureau office in Princeton, 1407 N Main St. Seating for the event is limited so anyone attending is asked to RSVP by calling 1-815-875-6468. RSVP’s must be in by August 14th.
