The Princeton Public Library is hosting a dog toy swap during the month of August to celebrate another summer for your furry friends. People can donate the least favorite toy of their dog and bring a “newish” one home. According to director Julie Wayland, “so far everyone has been very enthusiastic, the kids are the most excited. They can’t wait to give their pet a new toy, and who knows what their dog likes better than the kids?”. The library hopes this will be a good incentive to clean out Fido’s toy-box, although they do request all toys be clean and in good condition. Unclaimed toys will be donated to a shelter at the end of the month.
In staying with the theme, the library will be showing dog related movies each Monday during August at 5:30 PM. In addition, the cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 1 PM to serve shakes and chillers.
