You can learn how to create your own movie in five easy lessons using the iMovie app. The course is taught by Columbia College Chicago graduate, Reid Tomasson, at Festival 56, located at 316 South Main Street in Princeton. The one week course will meet on consecutive evenings from August 14th to the 18th. There will be two sections of classes, the first session is geared towards teens (6:30-8:00 PM) and the second is geared towards adults (8:00-9:30 PM).
Participants will learn an introduction to film, including skills in visual story-telling, cinematography, editing, production design, and more. Course participants will need to bring their own Apple device, with the iMovie app downloaded. The iMovie app will allow students to perform basic filmmaking techniques in user-friendly software.
