Local author, Lori Windows, will be at the Princeton Public Library on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 4 PM to discuss her new book “Simiakia”. The book is a story about a young Nez Perce teenager who gets a second chance after a heist gone wrong ends up with him working on the Idaho ranch he tried to rob…this is his probation. The owners of the ranch have their own past problems so they can relate to him. As he works on the ranch with Appaloosas, he reconnects with his Nez Perce heritage and discovers truths of his strange recurring dreams about an Indian brave trying to protect his people from pursuing soldiers.
Lori is a veterinary technician and works with wild and domestic animals. Her book is available to purchase after her presentation. This program is free and all are welcome to attend.
