An Ottawa woman was declared deceased at the OSF St Elizabeth Medical Center Emergency Room on February 19, 2023, from a gunshot wound. The LaSalle County Coroner, Rich Ploch, identified the deceased woman as Alexandria R Davis, 20, of Ottawa. A forensic autopsy was completed on February 20th and the results are pending. The incident is under investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Ottawa Police Department.
