The Princeton Public Library is set to celebrate Library Giving Day on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023. Library Giving Day began in 2019 in the Seattle Public Library system and has become a nationwide campaign to support public libraries and encourage people to donate financially to support their library. The fourth annual Library Giving Day is set to take place on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023. In a statement to the media, the Princeton Public Library described why the library was celebrating Library Giving Day…

“This campaign reminds us that libraries, serve as a cornerstone for our communities. Libraries have been tested in so many ways this past year. And thanks to our community, we’ve met these challenges head-on. We are asking you to strengthen and support the local public libraries that have worked harder than ever to advance literacy, knowledge and learning this year.
If you believe in the power of your local public library, please support it with a gift in honor of Library Giving Day. Let’s work together to make Library Giving Day a success. Thank you for your support!”
